Become a better Pilot!

All through your flying career so far, you've been taught how to keep away and avoid other aircraft.

And yet, at air shows, you see teams of aircraft all in very close formation with each other and flying as a single "big ship".

If those pilots doing the formation make it look easy - it's because they're very good at it!

But even those pilots had to start learning their art somewhere... and so can you.

Formation flying is a disciplined skill that takes effort, concentration, anticipation and excellent piloting ability; not to mention complete trust in other pilots within your formation!

As formation rated display pilots ourselves you will have no-one better to teach you this deceptively easy looking aspect of flying than us! We have enough instructors for a two or three ship formation sortie and all instructors are also display pilots.

It goes without saying that we need more than one person to do this course! Whilst we do occasionally run a "Formation Training Day" at our local locations, we are also able to run those formation days using your own aircraft at your local airfield.

Various options are available. It may be that your club or other group members are interested in experiencing this type of flying. Or, it may be that yourself and a colleague in two aircraft want to learn and progress more swiftly by booking us for the whole day to yourselves.

Either way, we are happy to come to you if necessary, or, contact us if you'd like to be kept informed of any courses we are running local to us!
