GPS Devices

Device training specified here is specifically for hand-held or panel-mounted devices that do not form a requirement for EFIS Differences Training.

There are a huge variety of hand-held aviation GPS devices (or apps) on the market-place, and its often the case that many, many pilots do not use them to their full potential.

And that's where we can help!

We are extremely familiar with the concepts of such devices, and regularly teach how to get the best from them.

What do we mean by GPS Devices? Well, not only bespoke hardware, but these days, also apps that can run on smart phones too.

Here's a brief list (not comprehensive though!) of the devices we are more than familiar with:

  • Garmin 430
  • Garmin 530
  • Garmin 650
  • Garmin 750
  • Garmin Pilot Watches D2, D2 Bravo, D2 Bravo Titanium
  • Skydemon
  • Runway HD
  • Garmin Pilot
  • Foreflight

We haven't listed any training syllabus here for any of these devices since it's more beneficial to do the training ad-hoc to your requirements (both device and current knowledge). Just contact us to discuss what you need.
